First Lego League (FLL)

The First Lego League (FLL) workshop introduces students to robotics, coding, design thinking, research, and teamwork through an engaging project-based learning experience. Students learn how technology can be used to solve problems while developing confidence as builders, thinkers, and collaborators.

Participants explore robot design, programming logic, innovation challenges, presentation skills, and team roles. The workshop encourages students to ask questions, test ideas, learn from mistakes, and improve their solutions through practice.

ALHF USA offers FLL as part of its commitment to academic and career skill development, helping youth build early exposure to STEM pathways, leadership, communication, and real-world problem solving.

Students will practice

  • Robot-building fundamentals
  • Coding and debugging basics
  • Innovation project thinking
  • Team communication and presentation
