Workshop

Helping students speak with clarity, confidence, and purpose

A workshop experience that helps youth organize ideas, express viewpoints, listen respectfully, and present with confidence.

Speech and Perspective

Communication and confident expression

Speech and Perspective

The Speech and Perspective workshop helps students develop the confidence to express ideas clearly, respectfully, and with purpose. Participants learn how to organize their thoughts, understand different viewpoints, and communicate in a way that strengthens both academic and personal growth.

Through guided practice, youth build public speaking habits, active listening skills, and the ability to present opinions with structure and evidence. The workshop encourages students to speak with confidence while also learning to value the perspectives of others.

This program supports ALHF USA's broader mission of helping students strengthen foundational skills that prepare them for school, leadership, interviews, presentations, and future career opportunities.

Students will practice

  • Short speeches and structured responses
  • Perspective-building exercises
  • Peer feedback and self-reflection
  • Clear storytelling and organized expression
